Beckham: Endorsements

Endorsements- There’s not much he doesn’t endorse: Adidas, Pepsi, Gillette, Vodafone, Police Sunglasses, Got Milk?, Snickers, TBC cosmetics, Marks and Spencer, Coty Perfumes (he and Posh have their own lines)…and many more in Asia.

David's brand value is worth well over $400 million and may well grow near a billion if he can break into the American market.

Here are some of Beckham's biggest endorsers.

Adidas:

Adidas supplies Beckham with a new pair of soccer cleats for each game. Each pair of cleats costs $595.

His deal with Adidas was the biggest single endorsement deal of all time. Fearing that rival Nike would scoop up one of soccer’s greatest stars; Adidas was quick to sign David Beckham for what became a record setting deal. Beckham was signed for £160 million, for at least seven years but with the choice for extension options that could last the rest of Becks’ life.

Ads Beckham has done for Adidas include a series of videos featuring
Reggie Bush, Beckham opposite rugby stars, Beckham talking about his past ridicule, even an add featuring an animated Beckham opposite Scooby Doo.

Pepsi:

Pepsi featured Beckham in numerous ads. A long running series of advertisments featured Beckhman along with other famous footballers, such as Ronaldinho, Raul, and Roberto Carlos. These commercials had the players showing off their skills in different environments, from German Beer halls to a Medievil themed ad. An ad that pitted David Beckham opposite Beyonce and Jay Lo was also made.

Got Milk?:

Like Many celebrities before him, Beckham was featured in a Got Milk? poster. The poster capatilizes on Beckham's footballer physiq and his numerous tattoos.
