Beckham unfortunately still just a spectator.

David Beckham is still out with an ankle injury.  The soccer star has logged just 12 minutes for the LA Galaxy, and those were the last 12 minutes of the first game he was on the team.  Beckham has since missed 5 games that the Galaxy have played in.  For the record, Galaxy and FC Toronto tied in the last game 0-0, while Beckham sat on the sidelines in a business suit.

David Beckham has yet to have a real impact in an LA Galaxy game.  Though the Soccer stud is being paid an outrageous amount of money, he's yet to really do anything for the Galaxy.  MLS ticket sales are up and steadily increasing, and many consider it to be David Beckham's influence.  Beckham's injured ankle has yet to heal, and I wonder if all the hype will dry up or if David Beckham's star power alone can keep MLS afloat even if he can't dominate on the field. 

David and Victoria Beckham were recently seen going into the US All Star Soccer game in Denver Colorado.  The All-Star game, held this past Thursday, was one of the many stops Beckham will be making in his quest to raise soccer's profile in America, and to continue his climb to the summit of fame around the world.  Stay tuned for more on Beckham sightings.
