David and Victoria Beckham were officially welcomed to Los Angeles
with an all star bash co-hosted by Will Smith and Tom Cruise. 

The over 600 guests celebrated the arrival of the Beckhams at the Museum of Contemporary Art's Geffen Contemporary gallery, in Los Angeles.  David and Victoria arrived alongside Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith.  The event must have had almost as many stars as the Oscars, and all to celebrate Beckham’s attempt to raise soccer’s profile in America.  Brooke Shields, Oprah Winfrey, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, and Simon Fuller (who helped propel Victoria to fame in the Spice Girls) were among noteworthy attendees.  Also present were: Steven Spielberg, Wesley Snipes, Jim Carey, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, and Eva Longoria.  Most noteworthy, Tom Cruise flew in from Germany, where he is filming a movie, for the event.
